Coverage · 232 countries & territories

Where we're deep. Where we're thin. Honestly.

Most travel-data vendors show a flat world map and tell you "we have everything." We tell you the truth: a few markets are world-class, most are working-class, a long tail is honest-gap. Pick the tier that matches the markets your customers actually buy.

Tier A · World-class depth

13,750 cities · 4,312 heritage · 17 named circuits

Markets where TravelMindsAI is the single deepest commercial dataset. State-level admin hierarchy, named tourism circuits, ASI / UNESCO grounding, multilingual narratives. If your buyer is selling into these markets, the question is "why would I use anyone else?"

Tier C · Credible production

40–625 cities · solid POI + narrative

Smaller markets and emerging destinations with a working narrative layer + dependable POI density in capital + top-5 cities. Use directly for general-purpose travel agents; double-check for hyper-local accuracy if you're building a destination-specialist product.

Tier D · Premium-only / thin coverage

3–23 cities · top-tier hotels + signature POIs

Boutique-tourism markets where we have the headline destinations covered but mid-tier and budget inventory is sparse. Our response models flag premium_only: true on these — your integration should surface that to your traveller instead of overpromising.

Tier E · "Tell you when we don't know"

0–42 city records · canonical-name resolver only

Markets where coverage is genuinely thin and the API returns coverage: "sparse" by design. Your integration should fall through to the consulate / official advisory rather than fake a confident answer. We refresh weekly via our automated coverage pipeline; some of these will move up the tiers over time.

Why this page is honest instead of cartographic.

Every other travel-data vendor leads with a green-on-grey world map. Maps lie: a country shaded "covered" can mean "we have one row for the capital." Our coverage page tells you the texture of the data — how deep, how recent, where the gaps are. If your buyer is selling into India / the US / Japan, you'll be working at Tier A or Tier B all day. If your buyer asks about Tuvalu, you'll know to architect for the no-data path before the integration starts.

Need a tier that doesn't exist yet for a market you're entering? We run our automated coverage pipeline weekly across all 232 countries & territories, and we'll prioritise targeted ingestion for paying customers — talk to hello@travelminds.ai.
